You’ll see the difference in our friendly service, hospitality and most importantly our high success rate in locating Ningaloo Reef whale sharks, whales and manta rays, and maximising your sight seeing experience.
Why Kings?
- Our founder, George King, was the very first person to swim with whale sharks in the Ningaloo region in 1969 and conducted the first whale shark tours in Exmouth in the early 80′s.
- Our company has been operating whale shark and other tours on the Ningaloo Reef in excess of 25 years.
- We are a local family business and always give you personalised service. We understand that everyone has different needs on board and we cater to all swimming abilities.
- Friendly and experienced skippers and crew, always on hand to assist and enhance your whale shark swim.
- We have a highly trained and efficient spotter plane pilot who often gets us on to the first whale shark of the day.
- DVD’s can be ordered at the end of the tour and picked up the next morning
Our wonderful boat, The Magellan, will ensure you have the best possible day on the water. Having been designed by our owner/operator, every last detail has been finely decided to cater for all of your Whale Sharking needs! We often have guests enquire about the risk of getting sea sick and we are proud to say that we have the biggest vessels here in Exmouth. If you were worried about getting sick, then this is the boat you want to be on. The Magellan makes for a steady and safe ocean vessel. There are plenty of great vantage points to enjoy the reef from on our large bow and our Skippers encourage you to pay them a visit up on the fly bridge? to truly take in the view. Having a large ocean level marlin board and ladder ensures ease of access in and out of the water for guests of all ages while a large shaded deck provides shelter and shade for that much needed rest in-between all that swimming! The Magellan also has a full environmentally bath room on board.
No Sighting Policy – In the unlikely event that we don’t spot a Whale Shark on our tour, Kings will book you on the next available tour. We understand that this is not always possible for our guests in which case we will gladly issue a Gift Voucher which is valued for one Whale Shark Year.
